Case Study: Drop The Hammer (DTH)

The team worked together to install the vital networking and automation cables from where the IT and Automation enclosure is centrally stored  to various points around the project and to each retail unit within and external CCTV and Security Equipment

Due to the scale of the project specialist high access equipment was deployed to speed up the task.

A high quality and efficient cabling structure and effective scheme was involved due to the work that was involved. 

45 drums of networking cables, 20 drums of automation cables and 25 drums of loud speaker cabling have been installed. 

That's 13.9 miles of cabling!

Security is paramount for this client due to the high-end products they sell.

HikVision CCTV camera's have been cleverly installed inside and outside of the megastore including the use of PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) and Tannoy's for the integrity of the Megastore and for the security of staff and customers.

Flux Integration were keen to design with a myriad of technology to ensure all aspects of security was tied together seamlessly.

This project is security monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, using state of the art integration software with a remote monitoring station ensuring the site is constantly secure.

... that's because Flux Integration has installed over 30 speakers in the showroom, each retail container has a minimum of 2 speakers each zoned (Audio Distribution) and controlled by Control4 Technology. Each speaker has been placed so that there is a seamless ambient sound throughout the show room.

Each zone can be independently changed allowing music to flow throughout the environment or can be zoned independently depending on staff preference.

Video distribution was vital for this Retail Project. 

Twenty Four TV's installed throughout the unit including a 85" TV for a Bike Simulator. Bespoke installations of the TV included hiding of cables and to have the floating TV affect.

Each individual TV is connected to a powerful WyreStorm video distribution matrix to allow multiple video channels to be viewed on each TV, from a single zone screen to a bike simulator and the video walls.

Seamlessly controlled at the touch of a button.

Dynamic and bespoke content, which was easy for staff to manage was critically important for the video distribution, BrightSign was installed for commercial digital signage to display the clients videos throughout the showroom. Following onsite training, this allowed access to the Marketing Team to add, amend or change the content displayed through the setting. 

Smart lighting and lighting relays have been installed which allows the client to change the lighting within the showroom to the desired mood.

 Flux integration has created the bespoke lighting to be independently controlled and set elegance, ambiance, convenience and energy efficiency to the business.

Using an app, mobile device or at the touch of a button, our client can raise or dim any light in any zone or the entire megastore with a single touch of a button. Clever automation even allows the lights to respond to your schedule without any touch at all. 

It’s not just smart business automation, it’s a bright idea. 

That's because its everywhere, well in this showroom anyway.

Over 25 Ruckus Access Points have been installed with a bespoke design and mount. From the ceiling to the floor, connectivity with Wireless Internet can be reached anywhere in this Mega Showroom. 

All centrally managed by seamless network systems.

Should the unfortunate happen with the Internet Provider not able to fulfil their promise to keep you connected, Flux Integration has installed 4G Wireless networking as a back up for mobile and internet connectivity.

Glue them 3 words together and you have a Smart Business Automation project. 

From the initial meeting with our Client, our main objective was to implement and deliver an easy to use system capable of performing otherwise complex tasks.
